BACKGROUND
FITT Global School was founded in 2017 at Ajah, Lagos by Mr and Mrs Adeniyi.
Mrs. Ifeoma Adeniyi obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Bayero University, Kano in 2002. She worked in different units of three banks for 13 years where she mastered the importance of competence, capacity and credibility. Mrs. Adeniyi has an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a PGD in Education in view. Her solid internship at Children's International School, Lekki (a renowned school) as well as relevant certifications in childcare (EYFS, Montessori, etc.) prepared her for the role of not just the school's director but also a child-carer.
Asides the name of the school reflecting her belief and dream of raising confident children that can compete anywhere in the world (with major emphasis on value), she is a wife and mother.
Emphasis is on hands-on education by integrating the British and Nigerian curricula and blending the Early Years Foundation Stage with Montessori styles to achieve an inclusive learning for all wards.
Mr Feyisayo Adeniyi was a Regional Business Manager of Diamond Bank Plc where he managed business banking in Lagos Island. Prior to that, he worked in UBA and GT Bank respectively. Mr. Adeniyi is a passionate, self-driven entrepreneur whose hunger for success facilitated the reality of co-founding FITT Global School.
Mr. Adeniyi has a Diploma in Public Administration and in Information & Systems Management, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and an M.Sc. in Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan, United Kingdom and is a Harvard Alumni.
Having worked in the banking industry for over a decade, he left to enable him pursue one of his dreams of impacting/affecting lives and being a part of the building of well-rounded (total) children. His educational qualification and experience both locally and internationally triggered the quest for a sound education for future generations.
ABOUT US
FITT Global School is an indigenous pre/elementary school, offering a warm and home-like setting for children with a balanced child-teacher ratio and a focus on nurturing children's individual attributes. Our team of teachers have an average teaching experience of 10 years.
We offer a warm and welcoming learning environment for infants and young children aged between 3 months and at least 11 years. There are opportunities for children to explore and develop a yearning for learning. We encourage smooth transitions within pre-school and into the Key Stages in elementary, as well as creativity, critical thinking, independence and empathy with a focus on learning and teaching social skills.
At FITT Global School, we understand how children think, learn and interact. Our contemporary curriculum is specifically designed to engage children at each age and stage from the Early Years Foundation to year 11 in order to support their growth as happy, independent, confident and capable individuals.
Asides our purpose-built educational centre which inspires learning, our anthem and core values are key principles which guide the way we meet the particular learning needs of our children by contributing to their Godliness, Character, Exemplariness, Respectful/Responsible Nature and Trustworthiness/Timeliness. These priorities will continually contribute to the unique culture and success of our school, as well as our personalised approach to learning.
Our focus is to be the best preparatory ground for gaining important skills that will guide their current and future decisions. We will support parents/guardians in nurturing a strong love for God, family and society in our children.
